Lake Tahoe
Would you mind giving me some tips to go to Lake Tahoe in this Thursday?
I live in San Jose. I would go to Lake Tahoe for 2000 Acura TL 3.2 on this Thursday December 25 and return on Friday. I want to see snow there, but I am afraid to drive because I have the experience to drive in the area of snow. Would you mind giving me some tips to get there safe? Thank you.
* Drive Slow if there is ice or snow on the roads – always for beginners * If your car is rear-wheel drive, you will have more difficulty starting to accelerate if ice or snow, move to higher gear …. * Do not stop in deep snow or pure ice …. not go anywhere …. * Make sure your windshield washer fluid is full cousin u use a lot of driving sleet if other traffic behind …. **** Beware of ups and downs if there is snow or ice present …. is really hard to stop down hills (Pump your brakes) and if it stops going uphill, while it might not be able to get moving again. If its snowing or has snowed a lot recently and have not clear the roads and paths …. need chains / cables and / or snow tires …. otherwise highways and main roads should be open. check prediction or you will be forced to buy or stay in town until roads are clear. All these things only apply with enough snow or ice on the roads, otherwise nothing that his driving because the havent already. fun …
